DAVID BECKHAM - he's the man !!
the crowd at Mariott were just blew away when the ball flew into the goalpost last night!

Beckham is just soo good! and with that kick of his, he bring England into the next round of the World Cup. Alex and me were all wrapped in our England T-shirt last night at Mariott, cheering England on!

Share some English soccer culture with you guys..

at a game, when someone shout "Go XXX Team!", another supported will try shouting in an even louder voice, "Go, XXX Team!" and someone will try to go even louder and so on..

shouted at Mariott last night and only Alex joined me in doing this... nontheless, we enjoyed ourselves, trying to see "outshout" each other.

at the match, you can see how patrotic my little Alex is.. he got all excited everytime England got a chance to score.

On our way home after watching England's victory, little patrotic Alex whistle a little tune.. du du du du.. du du du du du.. he's just so cute! love him!

i can't stand GAYS!

If there's one thing which i can't stand at the moment, it is GAYS !
this is the post-effects i got after watching The King and the Clown.

the scenes of the man touching the butt of another man, one man kissing another man on the lips, one man wiping another man's tears.. Yucks!

Darling said that the 2 clowns are just friends who care for each other. well, i beg to diff. i think they had a crush on each other. and to make it worse, they sleep on the same mat! i bet if it's a non-asian film, the plot would have them making out. Just imagine, 2 big man hugging and fondling each other.

after the movie, i just had goosebumps! Alex said that Brokeback Mountian has actually got more sensual scenes.

i can only say i am glad i didn't watch that.

Ok, i steal this picture from aini..

the first time we step foot onto a golf course. it was ... tiring! very tiring! Danny said it's because we are not used to so much walking. but playing on the golf course is definitely much more fun than playing in the driving range!

at the driving range is just smacking balls ( ok, don't laugh and don't think dirty. i mean golf balls.) and most of the time at the driving range, my hands will hurt and the worst is blisters. well, i deserve it for not wearing my gloves. but i really don't like wearing gloves..

but at the driving range, it's more than smacking balls blindly and hitting it as far as possible. need to focus and decide on which direction we should hit the ball at to avoid getting the balls into the bunkers. Kelly's ball went into some cow dung and sharon's ball went into some well-grown weet which are up to her knees. both aini and mine went into bunkers too.. well, at least is better than cow dungs.

finally, we finish the whole course in sweat and laughter, and of cos our PC!

as mentioned in my earlier post, i met Nico, Alex's dad.. but i don't address him as "Uncle ", as Alex himself don't call him Daddy. it's not that he is rude or what.. is just that is his culture.. he grew up calling his dad by his name. i suppose it is better that way, as daddy will be lke a friend to him whom he can relate to easily instead of "Nico, the daddy", like what we asians do and daddy is always in a highly held position whom we should never talk back to and daddy is always right etc.. but then again, asians' culture are also good as we'll show more respect to our parents..etc.. but then again..ok, i am so contadicting.. i can't make up my mind.. i supp everything is good in their own ways.

Nico is really fun and he looks just like Andrew, Alex's uncle.. well, they are twins, so of cos they look alike. My mummy is also a twin! i've been told that i will have chances of giving birth to twins. well, alex too! so our chances will be double! horray! though we are still arguing over the gender of our kids. i want our twins to be girls but alex wants them to be boys. Ok, that can wait.. maybe we'll compromise like what alex suggest - one boy, one girl. but that means they won't look very much alike when they are of different sex. i better stop this topic here.. afterall, that will come very much later, like 4-5 years or even more down the road. Oh, did i mention my mum is the elder twin and Nico is the younger twin?!

Alex helped me to take a photo of Nico and Andrew bcos i wanted to post it up and show all of u.. but Andrew shy away and hide his head behind mine. so, in the end, no pictures to post! back to Nico.. i wanted to write about him because he told me he has got a website - www.wn.com

how cool can he get!! a man who is 60 years old and still know about websites and setting up one! i'm sure i learnt it in school in my first year at poly.. but i forgotten. Nico is really very excited when he talk about his site.. hee.. so cute! is like a little kid showing off his artwork. he's really proud of it. he must have put in a lot of time and effort in it. look through it and it reminds me of my lecturer - Capt Dennis's website. Yes, Capt Dennis - that lecturer who was presented an award by the president in the year of SARS.. and for the whole year, everyone of us in class had to listen to him talking about his webpage and his award. ouch! haha.. met him again after i graduated to have lunch together and he is still very much into webpages and all. think is his passion.. make him so happy while talking about it.

Nico's webpage is very much like Capt Dennis' but Nicos' cover mainly on news while Capt Dennis' in the beginning stage focus more on news regarding SARs. otherwise, why u think he is presented an award regarding SARS?

Yesterday, darling brought me to Jamie Cullum’s concert!!! He is soooo good!! He look pretty on the photo but not so in real person.. haha.. he’s pretty small!

Am pretty upset that I didn’t bring my camera, and I am still upset now! Haiz~ But i used my cell phone to snap a picture of him..

Jamie make everyone jump up and down with one hand punching the air and everyone did and this man standing beside me is way taller than me.. so imagine when he raise his arm up, jumping up and down, his armpit is hitting my face.. Yucks! luckily he has got no BO.. or i'll have faint on the spot.

Back to talent Jamie. Jamie is really talented, playing both guitar and piano and sound really nice. And, coincidently, England is playing that night! So Jamie said that it’s always good to catch an Englishman before the England match! Hee.. I really wanted to shout out to him that, “hey Jamie, I’ve got an English beside me too!” Am really very happy to be at the concert.

Enjoy myself thoroughly! 4 popcorns out of 5!

Anyway, back to Alex’s birthday. Waited for alex with his birthday cake just beside the pool until he finally show up at around 1am. Just soooo happy to see him! Blow out his all melted candles (cos they burn for too long b4 he finally found me). Then back home, I hide his pressie and make him find it.. the rest is a secret..shhh…

Saw Betty – Alex’s sister for the 1st time too!

On thurday, darling’s birthday itself, went to Raffles’ hotel’s bar and billard to have lunch wif Uncles and Betty wif darlin.. food is not that fantastic.. but I like watching Nico and Betty together.. they seem so close! Nico must be a very good daddy!

Then we had dinner at Crystal Jade Golden Palace. Food is very very good! Thumbs up for that place!

Yar, seem like we are eating a lot.. eat all day long!

went to O'briens to get lunch just now..got their Honey and Spicy Chicken Wrappo while kelly got their Spicy Chicken salsa Wrappo. two of us were happily eating our wrappo while serene picked on her sandwich.

then my the sauce of my wrappo dripped onto my skirt! now i think i smell of onions in my fully air-conditioned office.

bad monday! argghhh!!! i hate Mondays!
