something interesting to share...
when i went to the washroom at work on friday, a lady from another office who happen to be in the washroom keep staring at me. and i thought there's pen ink on my face.. so i looked away and see my own reflection.. but there's nothing.
then i realised that she is still looking at me.. i was thinking is she lesbian? so i looked away into the sink while washing my hands..
finally, she broke the silence.. and the conversation went like this..
Women : do u have a sister who is a teacher?
Me (surprised) : yar, my sis is a primary school teacher.
Women (in excitement) : really! where does she teach?
Me : at XXX primary school.
Woman (disappointed) : Oh, i thought is YYY school.
me smiling, shaking my head and keeping silence.Woman : you look like a teacher too..
me still smiling and wave bye..and left the washroom.have everyone telling me that i look like a teacher. this happen so often! how do u look and gauge a person that she is or is ot a teacher? or a nurse? or a lawyer?if i have a teacher face, can't i work as something else beside a teacher? and how does a teacher face look like? at least, i don't think my teachers who had taught me before look similar.. and neither do i think that i look like anyone of them!
ok, maybe i will be a teacher..afterall, my mum was hoping that i will be a teacher just like my sister.. but before i really do that, i would like to try my hand in climbing the corporate ladder.. if i really fall from the ladder, maybe then i will try my hand at teaching. so that's my little back up plan...
