recently, i met someone special.
he's from London. Yes, The Great Britain. The place that is so far away from Singapore. The place which is 8 hours behind Singapore time. All my life, i was awake when he was asleep. and i was asleep when he woke up.
Never thought that we will be able to meet and get acquaited.
But we met. In Singapore, this tiny island.
First meeting, he says is at the J bar of M hotel, though i don't remember seeing him that evening. Was walking around chatting wif people.. but wonder why i didnt chat wif him.. maybe i didn't notice him. so we missed each other once.
2nd meeting is where we first speak to each other. we were queing up for breakfast at the hotel cafe. Strange enough that there's a queue.. who queue up for breakfast in hotel cafe? not as if we were at Macdonalds or wat.. but the waitress explained that the queue was long that day as there's a big grp of korean which had just checked in that morning. but is bcos we were queing wif mi in front of him, we managed to talk. he recognized me and know i am also on the course.. well, maybe he dun recognized mi, but he knows i am from the course bcos of the big stack of notes that i am holding onto. but he took the initative and say hi. had an exchange of our biz card. didnt really talk much after the exchange of cards as i am usually quiet in the morning and the waitress had came over to direct me to my table. had to share the table wif some other guests of the hotel as the cafe is pretty busy but not wif him though he is right behind mi in the queue. so, once again we missed each other again.
3rd meeting, after breakfast, sharon and mi rushed up to the function rooms. and co-incidentally, i chosen a seat behind where he was sitting. Actually, didnt even notice he was seated in front. chosen that seat was bcos of another friend who was also sitting in that row.
so monday passed very quickly and the whole day, we had oni one conversation in the morning that goes "hi, i guess i have not met u yet. i am alex." and my reply is as always, "hi, i am bell from platou." and thats all.
who will had guess we will click and have so much to talk and laugh about..
tuesday came... and we were seated at the same places. but never did we chat. it was till evening when we had the reception then did we really talk. was going around and chatting wif many people. but oni saw him and chat wif him in the last part of the night. there's simply too many people. had the first photo taken together then. it was taken on a friend's camera. she haven send them to mi yet.. must get them from her! after the reception, we went for supper together. at a simple prata shop along the road of tanjung pagar. surprisingly, he didnt mind the place and tried the prata unlike most caucasians who will faint and pinch their nose at places like these in singapore. i am impressed.
wednesday, we went to esplanade.. and then to the merlion , then we walked pass Boat Quay and Clarke Quay, finally stopping at MOS. walked and chat wif him most of the time bcos he is able to catch up wif mi.. i am used to walking real fast. so, we managed to chat more and know more about each other. and i was a bit dehydrated then so drank a lot of water..and he knew it.
next morning when i woke up, saw a sms from him..asking mi to tell him if i need more water. the sms was dated last night. didnt really feel anything, just thought that he's just being nice to a new friend.
thursday, had seafood dinner at east coast and he was seated beside mi. then, we went to loft bar.. somehow, we got to the topic of giving him a massage. then after that, we went back to the hotel.. and he and daniella came over to my room.. so while daniella was busy checking her emails, he and mi chat and laugh. then before he left, gave mi a kiss on both side of my cheeks. First kiss.
oh! we went to coffee bean to have lunch.. yes.. just the two of us (blush).. hee. we went out to have food instead of lunching in M hotel when Alex spotted me going out of the hotel.. and he came along.. *blush blush blush*
Friday, went to New Asia Bar. Daniella told mi that she can see that he likes mi. i was like, really? cant be! then i realised, well, maybe. or maybe he's just flirting around. but i admit i do feel something for him.. cos he's really nice and sweet.
sat, missed him a lot! he was at batam for work.
Finally, rec his sms on sunday, suggesting that we meet up in the evening.
went to Balcony.. well, there's not much choices as many places were closed for the day. food is not fantastic.. but company was great.
spend a longer time wif him till 2 am bcos i knew he will be flying off to London the next day.
sent him off.. and start to miss him again.
met up wif aini and was wif her and her bf.. was chatting and didnt realised that there's messages from him. stupid phone. message tone too soft.
miss him now.. wonder if he will call mi when he is home..
