on sat morning, i woke up at 6 am! very early! but it's for my dear friend, Ms Jennet Lek! it's her BIG day! her wedding!
rushed to her house on cab and by the time i was there, most of her jie meis (sisters) were there! so we formed the sisters gang! and they brief mi on what i am supposed to do (i missed their meeting due to my course).
finally at ard 9, the groom and his brothers gang arrived! so we bargain and play games wif them. the groom gulped down 4 different stuffs - bitter tea, chilli padi, lime juice and super sweet drink down in a mere 30 seconds! haha! but we still didnt open the door for him to come in! then he gave a red packet to us sisters! then we finally open the door for mi to come in.. cos we didnt want to miss the auspicious time! finally, he met beautiful Jennet who was sitting in the room! then it's the unveiling of the veil and of cos, kisses were exchanged between the couple!
then we went off to the groom's hse where tea ceremony was held..
then i went home to prepare for the dinner which will be in the evening.
in the eveing, met dawn, tom, amy, lawrence, kent, roger, doculas and si qi! i have not met them for ages!!!! i think is abt 3 years! time really flies!
then, finally, the couple stroll in and all the guest applause and gave them our wishes! had the yam seng thingy too! first time i went on stage and do the yam seng thing! it was fun!
then the dinner ended..
am a bit tired as the whole week had been a busy week for mi! so i didnt write all the details in.. will post all the pictures taken when i got them from jennet!
afterall, picture speaks louder than words!
