i am finally back from my one week shipping school!
had a crazy week! the schedule for the course is really really tight. but i am glad i went to the course cos beside learning stuffs, i met a really great bunch of people!
initially, i didnt hang around much bcos afterall, i just met the people there..
i only talk wif a lovely lady from Netherland, and her name is Daniella. Through conversations, i got to know that it will be her birthday on wed (1st of march). and i suggested going out and she agreed! yeah!
on the first day of the course, we went to have dinner on Cheng Ho II. but the ride is definitely too long (it's a freaking 3 hrs ride!) for my body to take it. puke 3 times! haha.. i am the merlion!
on tuesday, we had a bimco reception thing. it was mingling around wif people from the industry and knowing abt their company and work more. met quite a number of people!
wednesday, which is also daniella's birthday! it was also finally singapore on our own! so we finally had some free time. we went to esplanade and had dinner by the sea at gluttonsbay. and the foreigners(daniella, laitf, yooshau,santosh) tried our local delights! we had fun! and kelly, boon teck and jimmie came over to join after their work. and alex (gt to know him during the course too) came over to join us. bought a cake for daniella and all of us sing a birthday song for her! oh! got to thank siew fun for coming along too! otherwise, i wouldnt know where to bring all of them ard! it's always better to have more singaporeans and bringing them ard! so i want to thank my colleagues (kelly, boon teck and jimmie)!
after dinner, we took a walk along boat quay and clarke quay to MOS! yar, it's a very long walk! was so tired by the time i gt there! luckily, the queue is not long. we went in, and more of our course mates came over to join! it's a fun night.. exp the music is not really to our likings.. left at abt one, cos we had to wake up early the next day!
thursday, had seafood dinner at jumbo, east coast. after dinner, Alex, Daniella, Sharon, Irene, Wendy and mi went over to the loft bar..and hakim joined us later.. had drinks and we tried to teach alex and daniella the finger guessing game.. haa.. think alex gt the game but daniella is still lost and had to drink more! hee!!
finally, it's friday! Time really pass by so quickly! as i began to to grow closer to them, i realised, its the last day of the course already and they will all be going back to their countries.. sob.. had our farewell dinner at the yatch club. After that, daniella, alex and mi went to new asia bar.. the view is soooo beautiful! i just sat there, looking at the view! daniella met a german! hee.. and he was talking to her all the time! hee.. after that, we went back to the hotel and had a chat wif alex before dozing off.. he is really nice.
this is the end.. time really pass so quickly. hope to see them soon.
one happy thing - on sat morning, i rec a sms from santosh telling mi he had checked out and was unable to call mi.. and he send his wishes to mi! happy! i've gt another new friend!
