Happenings

- France is out of the world cup? I guess so when the french guy in my office asked if we can watch wimbleton instead of world cup today in the office.

- Baby is coming back soon! he is on his barge with high tech satalite system. He can msn me while his barge sail to Singapore! Amazing. I like!

- Jerlyn's due date is arriving. My best friend is having a baby soon! When i go back in Oct, must visit!!!

I MISS SINGAPORE!

it's been ages!!! and i am missing singapore loads!

6 freaking months since i moved out of sunny singapore. now london, where i call home had been pretty kind to me. because:-

1) giving me a nice new job which makes me work very hard. no joke. walk into office at abt 0920GMT every morning. the moment i sat down at my seat after getting myself a glass of black coffee or i like to more endearing call it, kopi o ko song and a glass of water, i will be stuck at my desk. maybe i will get up a couple of times to get print outs. other than that, the other 1 time where i will leave my desk is when i grab my lunch at Prets or EAT quickly (not forgetting to go to the washroom quickly since is on the way to the lift) and will be back infront of my desk, eating my lunch and scrolling at emails again until at least 7pm. i love my job. it solve my problem of insomonia, i have no problem getting to sleep now.

2) good weather. 3 weeks of good weather where i finally saw the sun. even though it is gone now, i know i had been lucky. it is that rare to see sun, ok. i think all these english people might had to thank people like me, siew fun and serene to thank. u know.. afterall, maybe we are the ones who brought the good weather here. sometimes when i walked on the street, i wonder that all these english people might have done something very wrong in the past? something that make God so pissed off that he decided that people here shall have such crap weather all year round? i dont care if you tell me something that had been scientically proven or it's where this country is located on the globe, giving me logical reasons why weather is like this here. i personally myself thinks is bcos god is pissed off. maybe people here should dance a ''hot weather dance'' to appease the gods. you know.. something like what the tribal people or farmers do when there's a draught? they dance for rain! people here should all dance for sunshine! maybe cheryl cole can do it?!

okay, maybe i have too much complains. beside other problems such as the trains are too small and all the people here are too big for the trains (trust me, for most of the people here, the top of their head is only abt 4cm from the roof of the trains here.), u can only withdraw £250 pounds a day from ATM machine (u cant draw more. even if your child is kidnapped and u want to pay a ransom, u can only afford to pay a £250 ransome. BECAUSE u can only withdraw £250 aday from ATM machine), dog poo is all around the floor, cost u 4SGD for a can of coke, London is really great!

maybe i should write something good abt it to show i am sincere abt my last statement above. let me think. ok, here goes;

- things look cheaper here. cost only abt £500 to buy a LV bag, where in spore, it will cost like SGD1000+. but to face it, it's really the exchange rate, isnt it? ok. next better one.

- ok. sincerely. food in london is really nice. but - that makes u fat, ok. which is no good.

jees... too much nags here. i have to stop. time to get my ass to the gym. ciao now.x

in life, one should be thankful for having family, friends and loved ones.
with no exceptions, i am very thankful that i have a loving family and a group of wonderful friends. and when one grew up, he/she find love. someone who is not family. his/her love may or may not be a friend whom he/she already knew.

the most magical thing is that everyone's special loved one became a very important part of his/her life. family memebers have been looking after u from the very day you gave your first cry. they see your first smile, hear your first word and watch you grow up.

Friends. Some you knew when u'r still a child who always have ice cream stains all over your mouth and clothes. Some whom you found while in school when you are a rebellious young teenager. And a bunchful whom one might meet along the way in all sorts of ways and form in later part of life. As we grow up, we meet lots of people and become fast friends.And how one will say if someone is a friend or an aquittance or a very close friend is really up to their very own judgement. But I believe one can only find true friends only after years of knowing them. And sometimes you cant even find a true friend in someone although u know him/her for ages.

Love, a perculiar thing.
not at all like the above mentioned - family and friends. One might have known his/her loved one for a very long time or a very short time. We tell our family everything because they are the ones who watched us grew up. We tell our friends everything because we have known them for a long time. So if time is a factor, that prove our ability to open up to someone, it definitely doesnt reflect same in love. In a relationship, we want to tell them everything about ourselves. And it's normally because we love them. We want to share our ideas, life, experiences and past with them.

Finding love unexpectedly. I met Alex under unexpected circumstances. I didnt search frantically for love. But I found him.
From the first week we met, we find out more about each other from each other and establish a special friendship. Then we feel something special for each other and fell in love. We learn more about each other while living together. Living with him allow me to find out stuffs which I guess even he doesnt realise himself. I found out he always choose to sleep on the side which is closer to the door. I found out he doesnt snore. Who is able to know if he/she snore or not?! I found out he drinks gallons of water before bedtime. And he always avoid cooking meat or fish or prawns. It may takes him only abt 7 mins in the shower, but he can spend up to 20 mins cleaning his set of smilies. He always lift the toilet seat up after use. He love having ice creams, cookies and little sweeties in his kitchen.

But he sometimes does things out of what i expected. Like ... i found bottles of coke in his fridge. After 3 years, 1 month and one week excatly of being in a relationship with Alex, i am able to quickly say why i love him more and more each day. Is because of his gentlness everytime when i threw a temper. Is his laidback character which let me feel relax. Is his sweetness of trying to make me as happy as possible. Is his patience with me, wanting to bring me to the best i can be. He is my boyfriend, my best friend, my instant perk me up, and my support.

Baby, thank you for sharing my life with me. thank you for showering me with all your love and bringing so much laughters in my life. you not only gave me a good weekend last week. you also showed me how much we'r in love. and u make me believe that our relationship will work no matter how hard it gets. because we got each other.

havent been blogging for ages!!

but i really want to pen this down. I had the most amazing weekend in my life recently. Baby arranged for me to go see him. And spontanteously, I agreed. and off I set off to London.

First thing i arrived in London, was to jet off to baby's and hugged him. he hugged me real tight too. I can feel his love for me. Baby planned a big weekend. and we did a lot. Thank you, baby for this amazing weekend.

but it really is freaking 18hrs and 35mins. plus coming back, is going to be 37hours.
But as long as it brings me to handsomeee, i'm willing to be on the plane even if it takes a hundred hours!

december - last month of the year!

things that i'm happy with myself :
- my new hair! was pretty unhappy with it at first. but lots of people say it look better than before. so $300 well spend!
- visited Krabi and did rock climbing with my love of my life.
- play chess with love of my life.
- went to a halloween party.
- work very hard at work. pat on the shoulders for myself.
- made new friends and know old ones better - ie : sarah, olav, cliff, patrick, weiling, nell
- leaving a VP banker with a well-known bank in the mall. who says singaporean girls like you just bcos u'r an angmo. if i dont like you or your actions, i leave u right on the spot.
- lie to someone on the street that i am 17 and he actually buy my story. such things really give you the kick. especially when u get to your mid 20s.
- visited my god mama
- visited the singapore flyer. thank god i'm not the last one to be on it.
- became an expert in sticking fake eyelashes. i can stick them on in 1 min flat.
- buying that limited edition M A C eyeshadow. i thought about it all week before buying, can! normally, i buy immediately. so applause for my first self control buy.
- losing a little bit of weight. i was like nearly 50kgs when i came back from Japan. I weigh myself yesterday at the clinic and i am now 47.7! yippie!
- buying that pair of ferragamo look-alike shoes. so pretty, can! i simply love it.
- did not buy myself a pair of gladiator shoes. think they'r freaking ugly! sorry, maine. but even hollywood stars cant make it look right on them.

feel like blogging so much. actually if it was in the past, this blog would have been more updated. to proof how backdated i am on in updating, i'm going to to update - MY NEW HAIR. here's a photo. i did it like a month ago. or 1 and a half month ago. See how often i update?!

so we got bangs!
she's curly bangs and i am sleeky straight bangs.

above are taken at our regular KTV sessions. i think we sing KTV every month. yar, we got to go once every month just like our aunty visit. otherwise we keep thinking about it. Talking abt it, we didnt went this month. or is bcos today is only 1st of dec. anyway, a picture of all of us.

and i held in my hands a 1.5month old baby. he's a cute tiny little thing.

need i say more? i am so pretty that even little boys love me!

i sumpa to god he kissed me sooo many times. on the whole taxi ride, he just keep wanting to kiss me.

and halloween 2008! i am young and trendy! i have decided - all trendy people dress up and attend halloween parties. i have all my friends posting up their halloween photos the same weekend! luckily i am still in the trend!

and then there's BBQ night with the girls and Sarah..

i'm at work. so i should be working. but feelin big time lazy after a hugh lunch.
darlin told me to have subway for lunch at least twice a week. from 3000 years ago, he been saying that but so far this year (and please note this year is coming to an end), i have not had a single subway. i'm 100% sure. anyway, i am very singaporean, so i dont eat subway for lunch. i eat fishball noodles with lots of chilli padi.

had sarah over the weekend. got to know her much better. we'r a bit different in personalities but we get along well. so i'm very pleased. she's warm and friendly who chat to people at the club while i'm the cold and nonchalent person. she chat non-stop to the manicurist while doing manicure, while i kept quiet and looked how mine does my nails.

had also BBQ with the girls. english style BBQ in loving memory of Alex. Everyone loves it and praise everything i made. at this point of time, aini should be thinking, "god bless them."

Really feel like posting photos to make my blog less wordy and boring. but computer at work is crap and doesnt allow you to do it.

want to blog about halloween. but it was so long ago that i've lost interest and excitment about it. thus, unable to put words down for it.

anyway, so DUPER EXCITED ABOUT GOING TO SEE ALEX SOON!!!!!!!!!
It's only another 25 more days to go! going to plant big wet kisses when i see that cheeky monkey! miss him so much and i bet no one can understand how much. i miss him about 10 billion dollars. no, maybe in great british pounds.

Japan Part II

we were making japanese pancake together.

We went to a sake brewery next! is it called a brewery? brewer sounds more like for beer. but whatever. U know what i mean!!

and on our last day, we were very lucky and chance upon some ceremony going on on the road. we quickly got off the taxi and handsome display the super reporter within him.. he ran and jump up, in hope to cpature good photos.

Lost in Translation Land.

Al and me are lost in translation the first night we landed in Japan. Handsome found a nice japanese place for us to have dinner which is on the same district as our hotel. but we were still lost despite taking a cab there. asked several people but to no valid. Finally, we'r in Daidaiya.

FATTY TUNA!!! actually we asked for sashimi. but as always they dont understand us. got sushi instead so handsome and me have to stuff our face with all the little bundles of rice and sashimi.

Next day - which marks the first day of our tour!!!
first stop, Meiji Shrine, which is built by Emperor Meiji and now of course, use to commemorate Emperor Meiji. on the way there, our guide explain the timeline of japanese history. and i quickly try to work out which japanese emperor makes the decision to come attack singapore. dont meant to be rude.. but i am very patriotic person.

at the shrine, both handsome and me pen down our wish. i have a little wish which is not as noble as handsome. he's very selfless - he got a very great wish.

we were also lucky and spot a japanese wedding.

Shopping at Harajuku, Shinjuku, Shibuya..

Handsome loves plastic food.

at Asakusa Temple. Japan seems like a very religious place.

Rongppongi Hill - and we get to see the "Effiel Tower" once again together.

Handsome says we should go try out japanese arcade.

and KTV! u can see the pictures are blurry. bcos baby dances around when he sings. yes, he's that cute. he made me laugh so much with al his shaky boom booms.

At some really old traditional japanese eatery.. i really like it there. was so happy, just cuddling and taking photos of handsome there.

Pole dance lesson 1

Pole spin - dropping of body and spinning around the pole.
start walking from the feet nearer to the pole.

walk 5 counts.

count of 6, lift legs and hands. count of 7, left thight to rest on pole and grip pole of left hand. using the momenteum built up, spin around pole and lift right thight up (at this point, both thights together, gripping pole. (this is known as fireman). land on feet tip top)

Fairy - same as fireman, at count of 6, lift left legs and hands. at 7, grip pole with left hand, left tight to rest on pole, and ankle to "hook" around pole (on the front). using momenteum, drop body and start spinning around pole. start lifting right leg up and right ankle to hook the pole from the back. (so the 2 ankles are grippng the pole). ending position should be with the pole being grip by both ankles, and one in a sitting position.

in the sichuan big earthquake disaster, a lady was found buried under the ruins.
as the rescuers kept digging, they found a baby. the lady had used herself to protect her baby from the falling building. and they found a mobile phone on the baby. on the mobile phone, they found a message that goes like this ..

Ok, old story cut short. my sis got married last month. cant believe she gave me pictures only last sunday. Sis finally got married after dating same guy for 7 years.

had an unplanned weekend.. but kept me occupied. so i am bloody tired now. but in order not to let people think that i live a boring life, i decided to blog abt my weekdend. really leh! i seriously think some thinks i have a boring life! for example, my gfs say That normally, they will leave me to be the last to call when organising a gathering. Reason - bcos Bell is always free. so if it's confirmed, then they will call and tell me. Bcos i wll definitely say i can make it. HOW COME MY LIFE SO PATHETIC! LIKE NO ONE DATE ME OUT! BOO HOO HOO!!!!
anyway, friday went to clarke quay for a bit to chill, and then home to pack the house. alex's moving down the road. woo hoo! on saturday morning, i work up early to do the handover of the flat on his behalf. the flat is on 7th floor. that means we get a better view! yippie! after the handover, went to pick alex's laundry up and then to the office to get more boxes. poor little me carried 5 boxes, 2 bags of laundr and 1 bag of bedsheets. and once i got home, i started packing again before rushing off at 2 for dance class.

got home at 7 after dance and continue packing which i finally finish ( but now is unfinished again bcos daniel and his gf asked for kettle, knifes blar blar. so i bloody have to repack them all in again tmr.)then at abt 1230 am, sheila popped by to drag me to the club. had a wonderful time clubbing and spending money, and we even saw two guys kissing a girl! sooo sexy yeh? *puke

then sheila came home with me and we spend our time looking at photos on facebook and ending up sleeping at 7am. then woke up at 1plus and discuss over phone with angelyn till 2plus on where to go. finally home and then to IMM for dinner with girls. now i am home! and my lovely sister bringing muffins over soon!

this whole month had been filled with beautiful memories..
alex was around for the whole month and he tried his best to spend as much time he can with me..

like coming for my family events, although my relatives couldnt speak english which he can understand..

bringing me on holiday despite his busy schedule,

supporting and pushing me to be braver..

and obliging to my request of taking tacky and embrassing pictures..

even when he's busy on the phone, he will hold my hands for awhile, or do something to make sure i am not too bored..this is a picture of him holding the phone to his ear with his shoulders and pretending that monkey is also on the phone..

he also taught me many things in life..like sailing, playing chess, how to treat people and life..

he encourage and push me to climb greater heights..

praising and giving me little treats when i do well..

organising little parties with me..

everytime when i want to organise parties, there will be alex running to and fro to the supermarket, buying lots of food, drinks and dessert for me and my gfs.

and when i reminded him abt the hotel we always wanted to stay at, he booked it the very next day.. even though we already had a nice apartment to stay in.

bringing his notebook to the pool so he can keep me company at the pool while he do his work..

he secretly make arrangement to send me a big vase of pink roses and a little teddy bear on the day he left..

that's my darlin, Alex. who gave and taught me so much.

alex, my heart is with you even thought we are miles apart now and i believe in you and share the same faith as you that we'll soon be together again.

editor's note : i'm missing him greatly now and am crying dogs and cats (i know is used to describe rain, but thats how my tears are like now)

i've got so much to blog. i dont know when to start.

maybe i should start with the holidays, as i have the photos on hand now. must wait for sis to pass me her wedding pics.

Ok, my Krabi holiday!!
Krabi had been a place which i always wanted to go. so now, one of my dream destination fulfilled!

our private pool with a beach view, where u can see many bitches suntanning with their exposed boobies. and i really mean exposed, where u see the whole breast, nipples, everything. Yummy.

But alex and me have better things to do than watching saggy boobies.
We'r going treking! to find a waterfall - that's warm and say to have a small content of sulphur in it which is good for your skin.

anyway, house visiting had became less exciting for me now. it always feel so much more fun when i was a kid. - extremely opposite weekend -

as the title suggested, my weekend is extremely different.
Sat, i let down my hair and do whatever i want - EAT.
the moment i woke up, i had a big plate of oily fried noodles with fried eggs and a hot dog. and immediately after that, i had a bowl of noodle soup with eggs and toufu.
If that's not bad enough, i had a can of coke in the noon time.

Meeting up with angelyn doesnt help prevent calories either. shared her fries and another cup of "good,old coke for me". But that's not all. Had buffet dinner at karaoke with Forest and Angelyn. And i ate a HELL LOT.

I woke up today and feel bad all day. Finally dragged my fat and lazy body out to jog. and.. i jogged for an hour! *APPLAUSE!!*PAT ON THE SHOULDER!!**

Gotta keep up my routine of exercising. waiting alex's motivation for me. i send him something to motivate him to go to the gym (not that he doesnt want to, but he's too busy), and he's to send me the same to motivate me!

hopefully, this work.

i saw this bell in my office the first day of work. and had been dying to get a photo of it. and i got lucky one day when there's not much people around.

Today i saw the most disgusting man. He's heavily tattooed. and he's flagging for a taxi somewhere before the taxi queue which i was in. no taxis stopped for him, of cos. So he came to stand in front of the family who are first in the queue. when the next taxi came along, he simply hopped in the font seat when the alighting passenger is paying the taxi uncle. Afterwhich, uncle try to explain that he is cutting the queue. Disgusting man doesnt care and close the door. Uncle had no choice but to take him. And here comes the disgusting part -- Disgusting tattoo man sticked out his tongue at us (people in the taxi queue) as the taxi drove past. EEEEEEKKKK!! so disgusting! the family laughed and i gave a disgusted face.

i am so disgusted! firstly, bcos of his ugly poked face which probably in his younger days were filled with acne. and now it had "dried up", resulting in super poked face. And his super ugly tattoos all over his arms. And his super tan brown thai like skin. And that super action of his, sticking and wriggling his tongue at us. SO SUPER CHILDISH LOR! i wished the tattoos on his arms come alive and swallow him alive! though i dont know if there's any animal tattoos. But out of so many, surely there is one?

7. When something is 'new and improved'. Which is it? If it's new, then there has never been anything before it. If it's an improvement, then there must have been something before it, couldn't be new.

Yunzi passed it to me at her granny's wake and i thought it's inappropriate to enquire about such stuffs there. So for months, i was thinking my present is from FORESKIN. finally, the day before while shopping for gifts from the boys, i plucked up my courage and asked. And it's from Skin. and it's suppose to be branded. that top cost a bloody 170 over sgd. I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!! Should have bought me that Addidas Jacket that i was gaga over. But didnt buy it for myself as i already have a dozen of jackets which i dont even have chance to wear.

But is shirmaine's birthday! i had so much lobster bisque and tom yam soup all together that i had a bad tummy ache. and i still have to bloody rush to island APPEC which was also in sentosa. after saying hello to all my nice shipping friends, i'm back to my girls again! and we went to clarke quay to ROCK and ROLL all nite!

Someone's bitching...

Things that make me sick in the morning.
Ah lian office ladies. Wearing their black pants or skirts whatsoever, pairing up with their double index or whatsoever top. I have nothing wrong against that. even i wear that to work. what i cant stand about these ah lian OL is.. their nose stud. Nose stud! u know wht the bloody hell is that? is something like an ear piercing except they had it on their nose! desperate ah lians try to hide their nose studs when they go to work by....

putting a BLACK EAR STICK! if u know what a black ear stick is? is those kind of stick which secondary school girls put instead of ear rings in the piercing of their ears. Anyway, what makes the ah lians OL thinks that the black ear stick will disguise their nose HOLE or even make it look like it's not there?

2nd fact.
Hands swing big big walkers. when everyone is rushing to work, of cos, we all walked pretty close to each other. so CBD people, early morning, hands/arms dont swing big big can? never ask u to march to work. neither ask you to play majong. of cos u swing your hands when u walk. but slightly! not more than 40 degrees, ok. 35 degrees already very big swing already.

3rd fact.
People wearing shirts with black skirts/pants paired them up with the most powerful thing in the world. SLIPPERS. FLIP FLOPS. or like what auzzies called them, THONGS! (not panty, ok) every morning while crossing the road just out of the train station to Springleaf tower, i will see at least 4 pairs of Thongs. if i am lucky, i see like 5 or 6.

Ok, i bitch too much. none of my business anyway. but i see them everyday can? one day, i will pluck up my courage and tell the ah lian OL that there's a black dirt on her nose. then when she try to wipe it off, i will say, "oh! it's an ear stick. sorry!"

Singapore is so hot recently. plus all the moisture in the air, Singapore simply scream HUMIDITY! can't stand it. Air conditioning is needed everywhere. A fan is also require at the same time. anyway, i am getting darker now, so wavy hair looks better than straight hair on me. so everytime I go out, i will take extra efforts to perm my hair. sometimes, it's a disaster, but still there's good times also.

So below is a relatively sucessful attempt.
*grumpy bcos is hot and the bus is still not here.

hopped over to Pilot's housewarming party with a bottle of Port for him. while purchasing it, i realised there's White Port also. always thought there's only red ones. i hate red wine. but i really love red port. it just taste different to me. So white wine for me, but red port for me.

am not a fan of red wine. bcos it taint the lips. and i heard white wine is less "fatty" than red wine. how true it is, i don't know. but since i am not thin, might as well believe.

remember bryan? my zouk clubbing kaki? it was only last year that we stopped clubbing. he got settled down and here's his baby girl. when i looked at her, it feel that things changes rapidly. bryan was single when we knew each other. and now, he has got a family. Looking at him attending attentively to his precious little one, i'm very impressed.

Though he said it's hard taking care of a baby, I felt that he's enjoying every moment of it. Afterall, all parents only want one simple thing for their child - and that's to be healthy and happy. Ok, i'm filled with emotions now. of cos lar! last time he is my clubbing kaki leh! we go zouk, devils bar, dbl o, boat quay, MOS, KTV, late night supper and all those shits leh! and now he's a father!

Enough. or i can go on and on. I'm just really impressed bcos the little one makes me feel so much.

I want to buy Wii!!! Pilot has got one and is so so so so Fun! I MUST BUY ONE!

want to tell everyone about my very well spent saturday lar! since i last posted below "I WANT TO GO OUT POST", been out everyday. well done! (praising myself can?!)

woke up at 1030 with about 6 hours of sleep and had a quick shower. wanted to rush to BBDC to register for my driving lessons. BUT have to rush to Raffles medical to have my X-Ray done and they will be closed at 1pm! Can only do that then! Got a cab and rushed to Raffles Medical, managing to reach UOB building at 1150. Here's my very healthy rib cage for you to see!

Stepped out of UOB building and for a moment, really wished for a job with Chevron. Well, opposite is the beautiful Chevron house, what! Ok, enough of day dreaming. i love my current job also. Walked all the way to Lau Pa Sak to have my lunch alone. bloody hungry, can!

Then rushed off in a cab to reach cineleisure before my girlfriend reaches. My girlfriend or maybe say my boyfriend?? - FOREST HUANG. Well, she is more boyish than me. so i'll be the girl! Meeting for KTV where we sang from 2-6, 4 HOURS OF NON-STOP HITS!

my bf is a princess. ok, confusing.

FUGLY PICS. but i still want to post.

after walking around for 2 hours, we decided to go home. is just simply boring and there's nothing to do. But on the train, we spontaneously decided to go jogging! as i already am carrying all my gym wear with me.. (yes, i have been carrying the same bloody bag with all my gym wear for two days! friday when sheila played punk on me last min and cancel our gym. and today, thinking, we might not go KTV and i will just go to the gym.) So off to forest's place where we get changed and off for a jog by the roadside.

After a long run, silly us went for supper despite our macdonalds meal at about 7pm? Run so much, and eat supper. WASTED! and finally i am home now.

I'M HAPPY! i felt my weekend is so well spent! is really much better than bumming around at home like what my weekends were when i was in greece. Yes, i am much happier here than greece!

Dancing lesson tomorrow! super excited!

i went to watch the melbourne comedy roadshow which is in singapore.

there's about 6 acts or is it 7? never mind, they are all terrific. I love comedy! dragged kumaran and his girlfriend, serene and aini. platou people as usual were late. luckily, we were not made a joke when we stepped into the already started show.

some funny stuffs that were picked up on the show. Laugh, guys!

My Discoveries in london

1) Tony and Guys are cheaper in London. Shampoo and conditioner costs 4.95pounds each. thats only 15sgd. Of cos i bought them lar! Bet Tony and Guy Spore sell them at 30-50sgd. so everyday i smell as if i walked out of the famous hairdresser.

2) Lemonade is not lemon juice + sugar water. Lemonade is a glass of 7-Up with a piece of lemon.

3) Fish and Chips come with mash peas - always.

4) Chilli sauce in Macdonalds cost 20p each, which is like 60cents.

well, i resigned. and boy, i am so glad i did!

the company asked me to empty the house on last friday and they will booked me tickets to go back to singapore on monday, which is today. cruel creatures. asked the employee which they employed all the way from spore to sleep on the streets. for chris sake, they rather let the house be empty and throw their EX-EMPLOYEE OUT! Reason? Because she RESIGNED!

is there no justice on earth! what do they mean by this? i owe them just simply i resigned? so that means i cannot resign? we cannot part on friendly terms?

luckily i dont have to sleep on the streets. flew straight to london and into the arms of happiness immediately. leaving the unreasonable company far out of my sight. gave them a discount to booked me a ticket to london instead of Singapore, which is obviously cheaper. but they refused. well, they insist on booking a flight to singapore which they did. and i am unable to board the flight tomorrow. bcos i am going to france in the next 10 days. happy happy! but i am still a good girl. first thing on monday morning after i knew i had to go france, i told someone in the office to cancelled my flight back to spore, maybe they will get some money back. maybe they had been mean, but someone else might need a flight urgently. they might get some money back, and someone who might need the flight gets his seats. I AM SO SENSIBLE! unlike some others..

anyway, plain stupidity and i dont quite understand why that happen. maybe i just dont understand what they are thinking.

greek salad receipe

3 vine ripe tomatoes, cut into chunks
1 red onion, thinly sliced
1/2 European seedless cucumber, cut into bite-size chunks
1 small red bell pepper, seeded and chunked
1 small green bell pepper, seeded and chunked
1 cubanelle pepper, seeded and chunked
1 cup Kalamata black olives
Several sprigs fresh flat-leaf parsley,
slices imported Greek feta
1/4 cup (a couple of glugs) extra-virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons (3 splashes) red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed in palm of your hand
Coarse salt and black pepper
Pita breads

Combine vegetables, olives, and parsley in a large bowl. Rest sliced feta on the top of salad. Combine oil, vinegar, and oregano in a small plastic container with a lid. Shake vigorously to combine oil and vinegar and pour over salad and cheese. Season with salt and pepper and let the salad marinate until ready to serve. Serve salad with pita bread blistered and warmed on a hot griddle or grill pan.
